Summer 2012, our community garden was featured in The Catholic Spirit.
"Seeds of Evolution in the Garden and Us" - a reflection written by Jill Underdahl, CSJ.

We have discontinued our blog but will keep it archived. Read it to see how we've come to where we are.

During the growing season, we're in the garden every Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., where we:

   •  experience a diversity of vegetables, flowers, and people
   •  learn organic growing methods
   •  enjoy healthy heirloom produce
   •  participate in a local food system
   •  build community with Earth and other gardeners
   •  share the harvest

You are welcome to join us for cultivation, harvest, food processing, and potluck gatherings. To keep in touch, "like" us on Facebook
, where we post updates, photos, and harvest totals.

This fall, Minnesota Food Share, a program of the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches, hosted a six-week Harvest Campaign to source fresh, local produce to area food shelves. Celeste’s Dream Community Garden received a 2014 Harvest Campaign Golden Beet Award for its part in contributing toward the 121,484 pounds of fresh, local produce received during the campaign. Thanks to Hallie Q. Brown food shelf for nominating Celeste’s Dream for the award!
