“The greatest challenge of the day is how to bring about a revolution of heart, a revolution which has to start with each one of us.” Dorothy Day, co-founder of the Catholic Worker movement
POWER Summit 2012 - "Revolution of the Heart" was an impacting two-day experience. The intergenerational learning group consisted of students from Benilde-St. Margaret and Cretin-Derham Hall, St. Joseph Worker volunteers, Sisters of St. Joseph from St. Paul and from the Congregational Leadership Team, Celeste's Dream staff, members of two local Catholic Worker Communities, a St. Catherine University professor, a POWER Summit alumna, and the director of a local nonprofit Appetite for Change.
We explored a range of issues from personal gifts and strengths and power to global economics and the current state of revolution in our world. We considered how each of us has a role to play in bringing about what Dorothy Day called a "revolution of heart" for the betterment and healing of the world. When: Monday and Tuesday, June 18-19, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM
