Ministry of Spirituality
In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus sets the agenda for us about our care and attention to one another, to the dear neighbor. We are to feed the hungry, give water to the thirsty, shelter the homeless, provide for those who are in need of clothing, care for the sick and visit the imprisoned. There are other principles which motivate us in our works, all of which have their kernel in the teachings of Jesus found in the Gospels.
The work of the Sister or Consociate of the Sisters of St. Joseph is a form of ministry in the congregation working towards justice, love and peace and promoting our corporate ministry of unity and reconciliation in response to identified needs of society.
