Our Ministries

The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet and Consociates commit to continuing Jesus’ mission in the world by responding to the needs of our time. Through the ministries listed below, Sisters and Consociates strive to foster the common good through advocacy, creative arts, education, healthcare, social service, and spirituality. These ministries were founded by and continue to be supported by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet and Consociates, and the community.

Carondelet Center
Carondelet Center is a retreat and event facility that offers inviting spaces for conferences, meetings, workshops, spiritual retreats, and special events.

The mission of Carondelet Village is to enrich the lives of older adults through a faith based setting that respects diversity of faith and culture and honors the dignity of all. 
Celeste's Dream offers young adults and others opportunities to integrate their education, values, spirituality, and work in the context of community.

Women and men of diverse life-styles and spiritual traditions committed to living the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (CSJ) within the context of their lives and responsibilities.
Good Ground Press is the publishing ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. They publish Bible study resources, books, cards, online retreats, and more.

The mission of Learning in Style is to provide quality education in English, Math, Computer and Citizenship to adult immigrants and refugees in our metropolitan areas and beyond. 
The Hedgerow Initiative offers sustained, systematic programming in feminist theological education, spiritual integration, and leadership for a just and holy world.
In Search of the Divine is a series of television programs that explores how people connect with the Divine.

The Justice Commission of the St. Paul Province is committed to promoting awareness and education, taking action and providing opportunities for others to take action that lead to systematic change in accordance with Gospel values and the Social Teachings of the Church.
Ministries Foundation
The Sisters of St. Joseph Ministries Foundation raises funds so Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (CSJ) can respond to the needs of our community with health care, education, safe housing, spirituality, and leadership development.

Sarah’s… an Oasis for Women is a home dedicated to safety and dignity for a diverse community of women where they are empowered to begin new and productive lives.

Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet direct their whole person and life toward the fulfillment of the mission of Jesus, bringing all persons to freedom and oneness in God. 
The St. Joseph Worker Program empowers women committed to social change to respond to the needs of the times. While committing to a year of service, St. Joseph Workers grow in the areas of justice, leadership, spirituality, and living simply in an intentional community.
In the tradition of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, St. Mary’s Health Clinics carries out the healing ministry of Christ by providing necessary and accessible health services to the medically uninsured and underserved.


Wisdom Ways offers programs to explore the spiritual dimensions of contemporary life for women and men and to re-imagine and embody all that women can be as agents of transformation in church and society.
