At this time, we are following the MN COVID-19 Operational Recommendations for Community Gardens and we now have a plan for staying safe and healthy while gardening together!
Gardening slots will include three people in each garden (front and back) per week. This way, distance can be maintained while providing a sense of community by having a few people to work “alongside.”
Follow the link here to sign up for timeslot(s) and please take a moment to read through the guidelines that we will follow to maintain safe COVID-19 practices.
Feel free to reach out to email@example.com with any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
Social Distanced Planting
A few gardeners started seedlings. We know the demand for our sustainably grown produce is increasing at this time among community gardeners, St. Kate’s students, St. Mary’s Health Clinics’ clients, and residents at Sarah’s… an Oasis for Women. Together, we can grow and improve our small-scale urban farm.
Garden work begins with St. Kate’s Community Leader Interns and social distancing. We worked with our interns to prepare and plant the gardens (see photos). We miss seeing our vibrant community garden community.
