Learn more about Theresa Günther (SJW 2015-16) below.

“For the past three years, I’ve been studying graphic design in Kiel, Northern Germany.

Now I work with different scientific institutions to make scientific research and its outcomes more accessible to the public.

My last project involved research about deep-sea sponges and how they are an important habitat for many other sea creatures, as well as the threats they face through human impact, like deep sea mining, trawlers, and global warming.

In some ways it reminds me of my time at Learning In Style, as it is also a wonderful place that made education accessible.

When I’m not busy with science, I like to travel around Europe in a van that my partner and I converted together!”
