A community garden on the St. Catherine University St. Paul campus provides an opportunity to lead, influence and tackle both food insecurity and food systems education. Drawing inspiration from the Catholic social teaching, Laudato Si’ and our founders, The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, the garden will be a living symbol of our care for creation.
Starting at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 7, CSJs, St. Kate’s students and staff, and other community members joined to prepare and plant in its new raised gardens. For photos of the gathering, visit: https://goo.gl/photos/WztPx2yLyBFcmq9bA
The garden is located just south of the Coeur de Catherine dining room on St. Catherine University campus.
