During this season of Lent, Earth Partners invites you to join us in prayer, reflection and action. Lent is a time to turn back to God, a time to re-awaken, a time to re-orient ourselves spiritually, a time to recommit ourselves more deeply – a time for conversion. In his 2015 Encyclical Laudato Si’, Pope Francis calls us to Care for Our Common Home. He urges us towards “ecological conversion” and writes that “Living our vocation to be protectors of God’s handiwork is essential…” (LS #217). In the coming weeks, we will focus on ways to live more simply, to abstain from excessive consumption, to reduce our wastefulness, and to advocate for change.

This week, Week 2: March 1 – 7, focuses on Reducing Food Waste. Check back to this site each Monday during Lent for weekly updates!

The updates from prior weeks are below:

Week 1: February 22 – 28, focuses on Rethinking Purchases and Consumption
