Praying for Peace

During these challenging days, we as a community continue to pray for Peace.  Join us in Praying for Peace and Praying for the Dear NeighborWe pray especially for:

  • The family of Daunte Wright grieving his death on April 11 by police shooting,
  • All the families involved in the current Derek Chauvin trial, for those actively involved in the trial proceedings and for our greater community as we seek hope-filled, peaceful, and nonviolent ways to respond to the trial’s verdict by moving our faith into action,
  • Members of the Asian American and Pacific Islander Communities in the face of the continued hate crimes across our country,
  • Our beloved Twin Cities community on edge from yet another killing by police of a black man exacerbating the pain, suffering, grief and frustration by these continued injustices, and
  • All as we act against racism and work together to move towards healing, social justice, systemic change and a more just world for all.
