In conjunction with the current Wisdom Ways art exhibit in Carondelet Center, Meeting Mary Again: A Multicultural, Artistic Pilgrimage, join curator Mary Kaye Medinger for an exploration of the role of Mary of Nazareth in Christian spirituality and art and in our own lives.

We will also explore Marian theology, in readings drawing on the expertise of theologians Elizabeth Johnson through her book Dangerous Memories: A Mosaic of Mary in Scripture (Continuum) and Wendy Wright in her book Mary and the Catholic Imagination – Le Point Vierge (Paulist Press).

This program furthers the conversation begun in June offerings, but does not presume attendance at the earlier session! We will gather for this conversation on the vigil of the feast of the Assumption.
