Jill Underdahl, CSJ, M.A. degrees in Irenic Studies (peace and conflict transformation) and nonprofit management, has worked with young adults in spirituality, social justice, and English education for 20 years. As a trained spiritual director, she helps people listen to the unfolding of their lives and be with questions they have about God’s presence. Her love for the stories of people and the natural world invigorate and refresh her spirit. She professed vows with the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in 2001.

Jennifer Tacheny, Director, M.A. Pastoral Ministry, has 20 years of experience in religious studies, social justice, and spirituality education. Jennifer brings her education and experience in social work, theology and sustainable agriculture to the CSJ community as co-founder of the Community Garden and St. Kate’s/CSJ Food Access Hub. Building relationships and innovating systems to help people better care for themselves, others and the planet motivates Jennifer’s work. Jennifer and her family are part of the emerging Agrégée form of affiliation with the CSJ community and enjoy playing music, soccer, farming and cooking and sharing good food.

Hannah White, Program Coordinator for Young Adult Spirituality, was born and raised on the U.S. island territory of Guam, where the values of interdependence, reciprocity, and generosity are embodied at the fiesta table. Hannah is a recent St. Joseph Worker Program alumna and is ecstatic to continue exploring how food can foster healing for our bodies, our communities, and our earth. While she works with the CSJ and St. Kate’s communities as they strive for more just food systems, she will also be studying at University of St. Thomas for a Master of Arts in Catholic Studies
